![]() ![]() There are 2 types of blocks you can place inside of it, 1 to raise both heat and power and 1 to lower heat (you want lower heat). Because of this you can make smaller ones to start out and build your way up. NuclearCraft is intended for use in modpacks and does not provide any power cables/conduits. As for the fission reactor, it’s a customizable multiblock (both nuclearcraft reactors are) while mekanism’s is set. Community content is available under CC BY-NC-SA unless otherwise noted. Items cannot be extracted or inserted from the top and bottom faces. It behaves like a Fission Controller, and allows the input and extraction of items. The Fission Port is a block added by NuclearCraft. In addition to power generation, NuclearCraft adds a number of single-block, upgradeable machines, similar to those added by other tech mods. For more information, see the crafting grid guide. NuclearCraft takes a semi-realistic view of reactor design and optimization so the mod is well-suited to players who enjoy complex design challenges. NuclearCraft offers three main methods of power generation: the Solid-Fuel Fission Reactor which directly harnesses the power of splitting atoms, the Tokamak Fusion Reactor which generates power by fusing atomic nuclei together under immense heat, and the new Molten Salt Fission Reactor, in which the heat of nuclear fission is passed to coolant to be transferred to water to produce steam in a Heat Exchanger, which is subsequently used by one or two stages of Steam Turbines to generate power. Im not sure how youd use that much power but its great. Its a 9x9x9 reactor that produces 30k RF/t on LECf 251 with an efficiency of 370.3. Its quite expensive but if you need a lot of power it will serve you well. In his video when the reactor reaches 8kK it turns on but mine does not. It does consume power and I do have 1.5 billion RF stored and available so it doesnt run out. It is currently developed for Minecraft version 1.12.2. I designed a reactor that can handle fuels with a base heat of up to 166. However I cannot get the reactor to produce any power. It supports the Forge Energy, IC2 EU and GregTech Community Edition EU power systems. It focuses on using nuclear power to provide energy. ![]() NuclearCraft is a tech mod created by tomdodd4598.
